Colicky - renal colic/ biliary colic/ intestinal obstruction

tearing- aortic dissection/ rupture

constant sharp - peritonitis

constant dull - inflammation > appendicitis / diverticulitis.

  • vomit colour, character, relation to food
  • does it wake at night (severity)
  • appetitie?
  • weight loss?
  • opening bowels regularly?
