• Feeding, eating, toileting, mood and playing

FH/SH

• Who do they live with
• Anyone at home or at school/playgroup ill recently
• If so, what did they have
• Recent travel

Systematic review
- Neuro, ENT and Gastro particularly important

• Worse at different times of day
• Pattern (exacerbation and in-between)
• How severe are the exacerbations (hospital admission, steroid use, ventilatory support/ITU)
• Are there symptoms between the exacerbations
• Impact of play, schooling and sleep

PMH

• IMMUNISATIONS
• DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES
• Previous hospitalisations/Tx for wheeze
• Associated atopy (eczema, food allergy or allergic rhinoconjunctivitis)
• If asthma already Dx, ask about Tx adherence/use and control of symptoms
