What are bar charts?
A
Represents data visually.
Display difference in mean values so it’s easily seen.
Used when data is is divided into categories, otherwise known discrete data.
Separate on a bar chart to denote that we are dealing with separate conditions.

What are histograms?
A
The bars touch each other, which shows that x-axis data is continuous.
x-axis - made up of equal-sized intervals of single category eg, percentage scores.
y-axis - represents the frequency within each interval.

What are scattergrams?
A
Don’t depict differences but association between co-variables.
