What is the present tense?
It is used to describe habits, unchanging situations, general truths, and fixed arrangements.
THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE IS USED:

What about the present tense in Spanish?
Well, it works the same way. There are a few differences, though. Look at the comparison chart below:
