What is it ?
It’s uses to talk about thing we started in the pass and keep happening in the present
Structure
Subject + auxiliary (have/has) + past participle of the verb + complement
I have eaten a lot
She has eaten too much
Short form: l’ ve eaten a lot
She’s eaten a lot
Examples
Affirmative: They have found the shoes
Negative: they haven’t found the shoes
(Subject - auxiliary with the negative not or contraction: (Haven’t or hasn’t) - verb P + complement)
Interrogative: Have they found the shoes ?
Auxiliary verb first (have or has + subject and verb P. + complement)
Practice
Peter ha caminado por 3 horas
Peter has walked for three hours
Tú no has estudiado para el examen
You haven’t studied for the test
Han ellos comprado una casa nueva ?
Have they bought a new house ?
1: para describir una experiencia
- I have never flown in airplane
-Maria has met the president

2: para describir un cambio en el tiempo, (evolución)
Examples:

3: para describir éxitos o logros
Examples

5: para describir acciones que empezaron en el pasado pero continúan en el presente
Examples:
I has worked in this company for 3 three years
We have had the same car for five years
Claudia Has gone to that country
6 para describir una acción que ha pasado recientemente.
Examples
Justo ahora he terminado
I have just finished right now

We have just eaten
