When to use ‘in’
In: Use for months, years, cities, and countries.
Example:
“I was born in 1990.”
“I live in Paris”
“Does this tree shed its leaves in autumn”
“He was born in the sixteenth century”
When to use’ on’
On: Use for days and dates.
Example:
“She has a meeting on Monday.”
“I’m going to the market on December 1st, 2024”
When to use ‘at’
At: Use for specific times or places.
Example:
“Let’s meet at 3 PM.”
“can we meet at the station?”
“She arrives at the airport at 8pm.”
When to use ‘by’
By: Use for means or methods.
Example:
“She travels by train.”
Nota : I take my children to school on foot”? We use “on” for walking

For:** Use for reasons or purposes.
Example:
“This gift is for you.”
When to use ‘of’
Of:** Use to show possession or origin.
Example:
“The color of the sky.”
Use of through
Through: For moving in one side and out of another.
Example:
“We walked through the tunnel.”
Used of ‘among’
. Among: Used for being part of a group.
Example: “He was among friends.”
Used of along
Along: Used for following a line or path.
Example:
“We walked along the river.”
Against
Along: Used for following a line or path.
Example:
“We walked along the river.”
