Preaparing for the real world

A

After the big exams the sixth formers between the age of 16 and 17 are feeling pressured to concentrate on curating their curricula vitae, because they get told to put things like work experience on their CVS to get to university. If u don’t get into university, forget about a job. Sixth formers have until the end of the year to make a personal statement for Ucas and summer to enhance their suitability for courses they want to do. A personal statement ca be especially important for applicants whose academic results are more borderline. It can make a difference between an offer and rejection. It’s important to demonstrate what u gained and learned from your work experience. For an experience u need a job, but one downfall for most students are their age range. Students under the age of 18 find it difficult to get a job offer, because they’re under the age of 18 or they or the parents don’t have the right connections.
