what is done at each visit?
weight, BP, UA, FHT, fundal height (starts at 20 weeks), presentation of fetus, screening for edema
when can first transvaginal US be done?
8 weeks for dating
- crown rump length is most accurate 1st TM screening that estimates date of delivery
when can truE 1st tm screening start
11-13 weeks
what happens at 11-13 weeks
plasma hcg
PAPP-A
nuchal translucency
chorionic villus sampling if indicated
what is most accurately done at 11-13 weeks
NIPT can be done from 10 weeks-term and is most accurate
what screening happens from 14-26 weeks
quad screening, AFP for ntd, and amniocentesis if indicated
also glucose testing but technically overlaps into 3rd tm (24-28 weeks)
what is entailed in quad screening
AFP, inhibin-A, estriol, b-hcg
when does abdominal anatomy scan happen?
18-22 weeks
*best at 20-22 weeks
