Type 1 (Construction)
Wood Frame
A secondary building or structure located on the same
premises or lot, the use of which is incidental
to that of the main building or structure.
____ means a building attached to or serving
the main residential ‐building shall include
buildings such as garrage, store, rooms, fuel
store, servant quarters but shall not include
annexe or a guest house capable of use as
independent dwelling unit.
Ancillary Building/Structure
No person, firm or corporation, including any agency or instrumentality of the government shall erect, construct, alter, repair, move, convert or demolish any building or structure or the same to be done without first obtaining a building permit therefore from the Building Official assigned in the place where the subject building/Structure is located or the building work is to be done

Duties of the Building Official
- Enforcement of the provisions of the Code
- Administrative control over building works in his area of responsibility
- Ensure that the construction phase shall not start
- Initiate action towards complains
- Submit a quarterly situational report to the Secretary through the NBCDO
- Undertake such other duties and tasks assigned by the Secretary from time to time.
