It is the basic of music and dance
movement. _ and dance is simply expressive movement made with or without music. _ can arouse the individuality high intensity of movement, participation, interest, and increase enjoyment.
Rhythm
Are the physical manifestation of mental and emotional responses of the individual to the rhythm. They are activities which a child responds to physically, socially and mentally to regular patterns and sounds.

Syncopation
Refers to the number of beats in a measure and signatures signifies their value.
Time signature
Is the rate of speed at which a piece or a passage moves. It can be constant or show increase or decrease.
Tempo
Refer to the arrangement of long and short intervals with relation to the underlying beat, accomplished by dividing the beat into parts and combining beats in different ways.
Rhythm pattern
Is a steady underlying pulse of rhythm and it can be even or uneven. Music with a pronounced beat is easier to follow
Beat
A series of units or beats that are regularly repeated.
Underlying beats
The unit formed by the recurrence of accent or the fundamental rhythmic group.
Measure
Is a group of measures which has a feeling of unity. It also consist of 8 underlying beats.
Phrase
Refers to the stress given to a beat. It marks the first beat in a measure.
Accent
The shifting of regular metrical accent.
Syncopation
