Fertility Awareness (Natural Family Planning)

Blocks woman’s tubes to stop sperm from meeting the egg.
Tubal ligation
Pill that is taken to prevent sperm from getting to the egg or prevents the egg from attaching to the uterus.

Intrauterine Device
T-shped piece of plastic that is often covered by copper wire that is inserted into the uterus. Other types contain hormones that are released to stop the ovaries from releasing eggs.
