1) securely mounted and in good condition
2) pressure gauge indicates in the green arc
3) The safety pin is installed with the seal intact
4) Hose is is attached and unobstructed
5) placard is present and legible
First aid kit (2)
Check if:
1) sealed
2) placards are present and legible
DME Flashlight (3)
1) LED flashes every 2 to 10 seconds
2) placards present and legible
3) securely mounted
Lifelines (4)
1) remove cover
2) check lifeline is present and attached to fuselage
3) make sure snap hook is present and attached to rope
4) placard is present and legible
Portable oxygen bottles (6)
1) Cylinders are securely mounted in bracket
2) pressure indicates a minimum 1600 PS I
3) On/off knob is fully off
4) mask is in the bag pre-attached to oxygen bottle and hoses are not cracked.
5) strap is attached and not frayed
6) Placard is present and legible
Enhanced emergency medical kit (2)
1) placard is present and legible
2) tamper proof seal is intact
Automated external defibrillator (2)
1) placard is present and legible
2) ensure status indicator window shows a flashing hourglass symbol
Crew life vest (2)
1) ensure life vest is stowed in pouch
2) placard is present and legible
Infant life vest (2)
1) 5 infant life vest present in pouch do not remove from seal of pouch
2) placards present and legible
Megaphone (type 1; white no black handle ) (3)
1) securely mounted and in good condition
2) depress the push to talk button and test
3) placards present and legible
Megaphone (type 2 with black handle) (3)
1) securely mounted and in good condition
2) squeeze black handle and test a chirping sound is heard
3) check black neck strap is attach the strap may be coiled up in a clear bag
Megaphone (type 2 red color) (3)
1) securely mounted and in good condition
2) press red button on the handle clicking noises heard
3) check black mat neck strap is attached and the strap may be coiled up in a clear bag
Onboard wheel chair (1)
Present
Depressurization blowout panel (3)
1) check behind the last row aircraft left on all CRJ aircraft to confirm all vents on the bulkhead are closed
2) check behind the last row aircraft right on all CRJ aircraft to confirm nothing has been placed inside panel door
3) report any irregularities to the captain
Lavatory smoke detector (5)
1) ensure aircraft power is on green LED is illuminated
2) push self test switch with a pen
3) confirm that alarm signals run continuously while depressing switch
4) confirmed that red LED is illuminated on smoke censor
5) verify placards are present and legible
