A

5-6 people for efficient movement. One on each wing, one on tail, the rest on struts. Pushed backwards.

Ground movements- vehicle.

A

Towed forward with rope at least 30 ft long. Minimum of two people needed on glider. One on wings and second beside open window on release knob in case rope needs to quickly be released. When around other aircraft/hangers, person on both wings to ensure proper clearance.

A

Minimum clearance of 15 ft between wing tips of several gliders. Spoilers open, canopy closed. Tail generally closest to runway and one person remains at wing tip to ensure against wind gusts.

Launch Control Officer (LCO)

A

Responsible for safe operation of all glider activity on airfield, on ground, and in air. Bright yellow vest, normally at nose of glider.
