A

White men >65 YO w/ smoking history
Asymptomatic until expanding/ruptures. Rupture = sudden, severe, constant back/flank/abd/groin pain and/or in shock
Palpable Pulsatile abd mass on PE

Pharmacotherapeutics for Acute MI?

A

Acute - MONA - Morphine, Oxygen, Nitrates, Aspirin
Anticoagulants - LMWH/Unfrac (usually with + troponin)
Clot busters for STEMI
Subacute medications - BB, ACEi, Statins

A

12 Lead EKG within 10 mins in ED
STEMI - ST elevation in two anatomically contiguous leads w/ reciprocal changes
Troponin is positive in STEMI & NSTEMI
