securely mounted, not cracked, not Bent. I’ll check engine oil level by pulling out the oil dipstick and making sure that fluids are between the add and full marks.
This ensures engine lubrication

securely mounted not cracked not leaking using the sight glass I am making sure fluids are at the proper level between ADD and full marks hoses are securely clamped not bubbled cut cracked freed or leaking

STEERING GEAR BOX
securely mounted not cracked or leaking no loose or missing nuts or bolts hoses securely clamped not bubbled cut cracked frayed or leaking fittings are securely connected not worn or leaking

PITMAN ARM, DRAG LINK, STEERING ARM, (AKA STEERING LINKAGE)
securely mounted not worn not cracked no missing or loose Castle nuts or cotter keys

TIRE SYSTEM
INFLATION
inflation is according to the manufacturer’s specs I will check this by using an air tire gauge
TIRE SYSTEM
CONDITION
side walls and treads are not cracked cut have bumps bulges or have damage that exposes tire plies steer tires cannot be retreaded recapped or regroved all tires are the same radial size

DEPTH
tread depth on steer axle is no less than 4/32 of an inch 2/32 of an inch on drive and trailer axles I will check this using a tire tread depth gauge treads are evenly worn not cut or cracked

are all accessible not missing broken or damaged cap is not missing and tight
