Front of truck
Lights
Identify all lights and color left, right, 4-ways, high and low beam, parking lights. Not cracked or broken
Hood mirrors
All required mirrors are present, not cracked, broken or missing they are clean
Leaks
No puddles or drips of oil, coolant or power steering fluid under vehicle
Engine compartment
Coolant
Proper level, not leaking
Hoses: not cracked, securely attached, not leaking
Alternator
Securely mounted, no missing parts, nuts or bolts, wiring-Good connection, not frayed Belts 3/4 max flex, not cracked or frayed
Water pump
Mounted securely, no missing parts, no leaks, hoses attached and not leaking. The pump is belt driven 3/4 inch max flex, not cracked or frayed
Exhaust
Mounted securely from engine to tailpipe, no dents, holes, leaks
No black soot streaks
Frame
Front to rear and side to side
No cracks, damage, missing bolts, or weld repairs. Cross members securely mounted not damaged
Oil
Proper level, oil is in good condition
Air compressor
Mounted securely, no missing parts, nuts or bolts, no leaks, gear driven belts 1/2 to 3/4 inch flex belts are not cracked frayed or broken
Power steering reservoir
Securely mounted, hoses attached and are not leaking Proper level, fluid in good condition. Specify if it’s gear or belt Driven
Belts 3/4 inch max flex
Steering gear box
Mounted securely, no missing parts, nuts or bolts, no leaks, hoses attached and are not leaking
Steering linkage
Steering shaft is not bent and no free play
4 piece linkage from gear box to wheels not worn or cracked (steering arms, tie rods, drag link and pitman arm) joints and bushings greased, they Are not worn or loose, no loose or missing castle nuts, bolts, or cotter pins
Front suspension
Springs
Not cracked, shifted or missing, mounts secure in the front, back and u bolts, u bolts not cracked, broken or missing
Shocks
Securely mounted, not leaking, broken or missing
Front brakes
Hoses and lines, attached securely, not cracked or worn, not leaking
Brake chamber
Securely mounted, no loose clamps, not cracked or broken, not leaking
Slack adjuster and push rod
Securely mounted, no bent, broken, loose, or missing parts. Push rod has max of 1 inch movement by hand when brakes are released
Linings or pads
Securely mounted, not worn dangerously thin, no grease or oil
Front wheel
Inner axle seal
Securely mounted, not leaking, proper level,
Tires
Inflated to company or manufacturers specs
Valve stems capped not leaking or damaged
Condition- no cuts, bulges, evenly worn tread depth minimum of 4/32
Rims
No dents, no illegal welds, no rust streaking indicating looseness
Lug nuts
None missing, no rust streaks indicating looseness, no cracks radiating from holes or distortion of holes
Outer hub oil seal
Securely mounted, bolts tight, proper level not leaking
