Congenital eg absent kidneys
Chromosomal eg Downs
Placental factors leading to poor growth?
Infarcts
Abruption
Often secondary to hypertension
How is IUGR sub divided?
Symetrical and asymetrical
What measurements are used to assess growth?
Abdominal circumf and head circumf
What is cardiotocography?
A means of recording the fetal heartbeat and uterine contractions during pregnancy
