33
Q

Refer to “BEFORE TAKEOFF” procedure while set the throttle to 1700 rpm for magnetos check the RPM drop should not exceed ..(a).. rpm on either magnetos and ..(b).. rpm differential between magnetos

A

(a) = 125

(b) = 50

34
Q

35
Q

While you taxi you should set the throttle to ..().. rpm instead of idle. Why?

A

1000 rpm

In order to prevent spark plug become fouling

36
Q

Please describe the Pitot-Static system and its malfunctions

A

The system received ram pressure and static pressure then send to Pitot-Static instrument. These instrument convert pressure and send to 3 indicators. Airspeed indicator measuring differential pressure between dynamic pressure from Pitot tube and Static pressure from Static port. For Altimeter and Vertical speed indicator use only static pressure to measure changed pressure varies by altitude in Aneroid wafers and Diaphragm respectively
