Law passes by British Parliament that placed import duties on tea, paper, glass, and paint. (1767)

Written orders that allowed officials to conduct unrestricted serched for suspected smuggled goods; Blank serch warrants. (1761-1762)

A small band of angry colonists formed a protest group. They burned piles of the stamps. (1765)

He lead the goston protesters who destroed a ships cargo of east indian tea.

Patrick Henry
He was a hot-tempered lawyer. He called the stamp act illegal and proposed several resolutions aginst it.
