A
Nomadic Tribes, always competing for food, water and grazing. There was a lot of violence

A
The one place where violence was not permitted, became a place of trade, very wealthy, and controlled by the Quraysh tribe

A
The majority were polytheistic, worshipped idols and shared beliefs with Christians and Jews

A
Women were treated poorly and female infanticide was practised, many owned slaves and treated them poorly

Isolation in Arabia
A
Arabia was a vast, hot desert, and not many were willing to make the journey to travel. Arabia was behind in their standards of living
