Multiply the decimal by 100.
What is a proportional statement?
Setting one fraction (proportion) equal to another. Example 1/2=100/200=250/500

Divide the coefficient of y into mx AND b.
What is a coefficient in an equation?
The number before a variable i.e. 3x 3 is the coefficient 25z 25 is the coefficient.
Given an equation of a line in the form y=mx+b how could you solve for b?
Solve for m (the slope first) then plug that in to solve for b
What is the order of operations when solving equations?
PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction
How do you add or subtract fractions with unlike denominators?
- Find a common denominator then solve.
