Worship
The act of religious praise, honour or devotion,
Liturgical worship
A church service that follows a set structure.
Non-liturgical worship
A seevice that does not follow a set text or ritual.
Informal Worship
A type of non-liturgical worship that is ‘spontaneous’ or ‘charismatic’ in nature.

- The decision to live dedicated to Jesus is what saves a person

Lourdes Significance
- Where Mary is said to have appeared in visions to a young girl called Bernadette
- Mary told her to dig the ground where a spring water appeared
- The water is believed to have healing properties
Lourdes Activities
- Bathe in the waters of the spring
- Pray for healing or forgiveness
Iona Significance
- Where St Columba established a monastic community in 6th century AD
- The community now has an ecumencial centre where Pilgrims can stay
Iona Activities
- Pilgrims can spend time praying, reading the Bible, and reflecting or meditating
- Pilgrims can also attend services in the abbey chruch, take part in workshops, and visit the islands holy or historyic sites.
