D) auditing and verifying results of activities involving professional forestry.
E) planning, locating and approving forest transportation systems
F) assessing estimating and analyzing capability of forest lands to yield a flow of timber.
Can an RFT use data for conservation?
No, an RPF is required
If professional opinion is required in a complex professional document, is it in the RFT area of practice?
No. An RPF is likely required for projects of significant complexity.
Can an RFT plan waste and residue sampling for forest resource Inventory?
Yes
Can a licensee carry out their own appraisal cruising if eh are a non member?
No, cruising falls within the measurements area of practice and a non member would have to be supervised by a registered member to carry out cruising aspects that are the practice of professional forestry.
What are the mandatory requirements for submission of professional work?
Date, legible name, signature
If you believe your employers actions are detrimental to good stewardship, do you have to inform them?
Yes, under bylaw 11.5.5
