CLASS INTRODUCTION
Hey team, I’m Gater and welcome to Precision Run! Let’s get those treadmills moving to a walk or slow jog, somewhere around 3-5mpg.
PR EXPLANATION
Each tread workout in PR is based on your 1-minute personal record, AKA, PR. This is a speed you know you could do for an entire minute, with zero incline, that feels at the top of your ability.
WARM UP into CLASS EXPLANATION
For our warm-up, we’re gonna start with butt kicks, high knees, then fast feet. We’re gonna repeat that as I explain what to expect today.
CLASS EXPLANATION: Totally 80s
This run has 2 segments, one focused on gradually increasing incline, and one focused on
gradually increasing speed. From the intervals, to the recoveries, everything is 80 seconds long. Within each interval, there will be shifts every 20 second shifts.
Other notes for yourself about totally 80s programming:
-The speed goes down in segment 1 and up in segment 2, eventually creeping right above your PR.
-Incline range from 0-8%
