Cessna 152 Straight and Level flight configuration

Horizon level: 4 fingers below horizon

The VFE (Maximum Flap Extended Speed) for the Cessna 152 is

Runway pre-entry, Takeoff & after takeoff procedure
Pre-entry procedure:
A - Approach clear / radio X-XX line up runway XXX
T - Transponder set to ALT
P - Pitot heat as required
L - Landing lights on / taxi light off
Line up procedure:
C - Confirm runway
D - DI/Heading aligned
Takeoff procedure:
W - Note wind direction & control column into wind
B - Hold breaks
P - Full power
T - T’s & P’s in the green
R - RPM above 2000 RPM
B - Release breaks / T’s & P’s
A - Airspeed alive
H - Hand on throttle
R - Rotate at 50kts
I - initial climb 55kts
After 500ft -> 65kts
After takeoff procedure FELT:
F - Flaps
E - Engine T’s & P’s
L - Landing nights off

F - Fuel: On and sufficeint including diversion and go around
R - Radio: Tuned, identified, obtain ATIS or joining instructions
E - Engine: T’s & P’s, Carb heat check (10 seconds) no rise, no ice
