As a police officer, that person will have the power to do things that ordinary people don’t have.
Power to arrest
Power to stop and search people
Power to search property
For the power of arrest when are the police allowed to arrest you?
Arrests allow the police to take you into custody, like at the police station or in a hospital. The police can arrest you more than once in relation to the same crime. So you could be arrested, questioned, released without charge, and then arrested again if new evidence came to light.
For the power of stop and search when are the police allowed to stop you?
The police can only stop you if they have a warrant, they have a reasonable ground to suspect that you have committed a crime or are about to commit a crime, you are suspected of having weapons or terrorist activity.

The police can only stop you if: if u have illegal drugs If u are suspected of having a knife If you are suspected of having a gun If you are suspected of stolen property etc
