Define Pragmatics
Focuses less on structures and more on contexts and purposes of people talking to each other.
“Pragmatically, Jane wanted to know the wear and thus asked to use Jack’s radio…”
Define tag question
A declarative statement turned into a question.
Eg) it’s a bit expensive round here, isn’t it?

Presenting a particular image of ourselves to others
