We are more intelligent species, don’t punish dog for being on the sofa cause she only learn not to be on the sofa in our presence rather make it imposible or undesirable for her to be on the sofa (great dog bed, place cartons or something on the sofa)

  2. Mark the behaviour
  3. Reward the behaviour
  4. Repeat the behaviour until it has about 80% success rate
  5. Add a verbal cue before dog doeas the behaviour to create a link !!!
  6. Use verbal cue to elicit behaviour
25
