Q

What were Henry III’s problems as a King?

A

Henry’s problems were very similar to his father in terms of high taxation and foreign favourites. He also like his dad wasn’t a very good warrior and ended up being captured in 1264 by Simon de Montfort.

Q

Why was The Black Death a problem for Kings?

A

The Black Death had serious impacts on economy and the population size. We know this because when we analyse the prices of foods we see them rise dramatically at the time of The Black Death. We also see wages for peasants who are farmers. This is because they had less food import and farmers so it rises in price because it is rarer.
