How to solve elastics question?
Form 2 equations, then solve simultaneously

II) a) At rest, equilibrium forces balanced
b) Accelerating, F = ma, where F is the rsultant.
When is max velocity in elastics?
When a = 0, i.e at its equilibrium position
When is max acceleration in elastics?
WHen v = 0, i.e, just after it is released.
