A
Heavy infestations can cause intestinal blockages. Weight loss. Blood loss. Slowed growth. Mortality.

What is the pathogenesis of heterakis gallinarum?
A
Mild pathogenicity on it’s own.
Can vector histomonas meleagridis, which causes blackhead. This is a serious protozoan disease.
