Tell me about yourself
I am a third year Planning student who aspire to work in the planning industry as well as the President of planning society.
How would you describe yourself?
I am an independent, social able and compassionate to others
What makes you unique:
Love to help others and from past experience I have great communication skills
What interest you in this role?
Spatial Planner works with a range of different backgrounds and different culture people and understand the need for the city or town.
We are the key people to change their living environment.
Spaitial Planner works closely with the present people and the future generations
And we can see a development come to life
What motivates you?
Knowing I can be helpful to others as well as achieving and completing my tasks and learning possible issues and how I can tackle them next time
What is your passion?
My passion within urban planning is to plan for the people and for the environment around them and the future generations
What is your greatest strength?
I am hard-working person I have work since 15 years old and able to have that organisation skills that loans from past experience
greatest weakness
Focusing too much on the details and often get very critical with myself however I have learnt to not be as hard on myself
Tell me a time when you overcome an obstacle?
Had a confusion with one of the modules, rather than panic on when lecturers can reply to my emails, I have reached out to my seniors and as for their insight and advice.
How do you handle stress?
When is work related stress I often try to calm down and process my emotions first and reach out to my mentor all my colleagues for some more advice
Why should we hire you?
I’m independent as well as very good with communication skills with my peers.
I am also very enthusiastic in this role and I hope to bring new energy to the team
Where would you see yourself in five years time
I wish to stay with Gateshead Council and perhaps be more hands-on on specific team such a sustainable development or environmental planning.
Why did you pick planning?
Cities changes rapidly without us knowing it and the ability to foresee the future is environment it is very exciting.
Also the ability to change and improve the living environment for others it’s also very important to me
Conflict with team players before
A miscommunication was involve So I calm down and process the situation and get back into communication with the staff and understand their side of the issues
