Right Angle Congruence Postulate
All right angles are congruent
Parallel Postulate
Through an external point, 1 line may be drawn parallel to the given line
Perpendicular Postulate
Through an external point, 1 line may be drawn perpendicular to the given line
Partition Postulate
A whole is equal to the sum of it’s parts
Segment Additions Postulate
Segment ABC, then AB+BC=AC
Angle Addition Postulate
Given 2 ajacent angles, the measure of the whole angle that contains them both is equal to the sum of the measures of those 2 angles.
Reflexive Property
A quantity equal to itself, is congruent to itself.
Symmetric Property
The two sides of an equality are equal so they can be interchanged.
Transitive Property
If two quantities are equal to the same quantity they are congruent.
Addition Property of Equality
If equals are added to other equals the sum with be equal.
Subtraction Property of Equality
If equals are subtracted from other equals the differences with be equal.
Multiplication Property of Equality
If equals are multiplied by other equals the products with be equal.
Division Property of Equality
If equals are divided by other equals the quotient with be equal.
Substitution Property
A quantity may be substituted with its equal.
Straight Angles Congruence Theorem
All straight angles are congruent.
Vertical Angles Congruence Theorem
All vertical angles are congruent.
Linear Pair Theorem
If two angles form a linear Pair, they are supplementary.
Congruent Complements Theorem
Complements of the same angles, or of congruent angles, are congruent.
Congruent Supplements Theorem
Supplements of the same angle, or congruent angles, are congruent.
