Half way between the umbilicus and the symphysis pubis
What is the schedule for assessing Vital signs after birth?
Every 15 min first hour
Every 30 min second hour
Every 4 hours for the first 24 hrs
Every 8 hours thereafter
How long is the Postpartum period?
6 weeks
Where is the fundus felt 12 hrs after birth?
At the umbilicus/ U/U
How fast does the fundus descend?
1 cm or fingerbreadth per day
