what is the post telegraphic stage

A

this is a stage where a child’s life has changed so much such as nursery and more collaboration play.
therefore stepping into adult stage of spoken English.
this stage is important in teaching a child how to maintain conversations such as politeness strategies and unspoken expectations through their own identity and graces maximimes understanding abstract concepts.

  • greater pragmatic awarness, turn taking and more frequent interagatives.
  • discourse awareness and use of topic management (direction of conversation)
  • adhering to prices maxims
