Controlled Substances (Uniform Controlled Substances Act (UCSA))
A
A person may not:
- knowingly or intentionally manufacture, distribute, or deliver a controlled substance, or
- possess a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, distribute, or deliver it.
- knowingly or intentionally possess a controlled substance (unless obtained from a valid prescription or order from a practitioner or otherwise authorized by statute)).

Firearms (National Firearms Act (NFA))
A
The NFA prohibits the possession of certain firearms and accessories in violation of the registration, authorization, and notification requirements that the Act sets forth.

Firearms: Awareness
A
A D must be aware that they possess something, whether the possession is actual or constructive, and that the thing possessed is in fact a “firearm” of some sort.
-But the accused does not have to now that the item possessed is unregistered or subject to registration.
