What is the pattern and trends of society?

A

The social structure of particular societies produce social forces or laws over which people have little or no control

Social actions are the outcome of the way that societies are organised- puppets of society- behaviour is only important as part of a whole wider collector- Whole groups of people behaving in a patterned way as a result of social structure

A

Society is more important than the individual- Society exists outside the individuals who compromise it- individual behaviour is a product of social forces beyond the individual’s control and understanding

A

Free will, individualism and the ability to make choices are less influential than societies ability to shape behaviour

A

Macro approach- mainly concerned with examining relationships between different parts of the social structure, to work on how this affects the behaviour of members of society
