Define the term family.
A family is a group of two or more persons related by birth, marriage, or adoption who live together.
- Define adolescence.
Adolescence is the transitional phase of growth and development between childhood and adulthood. The WHO defines an adolescent as any person between ages 10 and 19.
- List the developmental challenges associated with adolescence.
- Rapid physical growth and change

To clearly state one’s needs and wishes with respect both for oneself and the other people involved in the communication.

Sexuality is the sexual feelings that may be expressed through thoughts, emotions, sexual behaviour or sexual orientation.

Heterosexual
Heterosexual people are sexually or romantically attracted to people of the opposite sex.
An attraction to more than one gender. Those who identify as bisexual feel a sexual and/or romantic attraction to people of a different gender as well as their own.

Transgender is an umbrella term for the persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behaviour does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth.
People born with genetic, hormonal or physical features that could be typical of both male and female at the same time, or they may have no clearly defines sexual features at all.
Intersex
- List 3-5 of the stereotypes society may have regarding gender.

Girls are stay-at-home housewives
- Define the term platonic.
A platonic relationship primarily consists of no sexual contact, but just a mutual relationship. Many may want to consider sexual advancements after marriage.
