Allows diaphragm to move lower, demonstrates air fluid levels, and prevents engorgement of pulmonary vessels

7 inches below the vertebrae prominens

8 inches below the vertebrae prominent

3-4 inches below the jugular notch

How do you determine rotation on a PA chest?
The AC joints… Rotation to the rt side if the lt clavicle is farther away from the IR and rotation to the lt if the rt clavicle is farther from the IR
Why is 72” SID used for chest?
Do decrease the magnification of the heart
