What is Telnet?
Telnet is a network protocol used to provide a bidirectional interactive text based communications between a local and remote host.
What port(s) and protocols does telnet use for communications?
Telnet communicates via Port 23 and uses both TCP & UDP.
What port(s) and protocols does File Transfer Protocol (FTP) use for data transfers?
FTP uses UDP & TCP for data transfer on Port 20.
