Expert App Lunch Breaks

What led me to make this decision?

I decided to go with this more minimal design after learning that color association could lead to anxiety especially when taking breaks which are supposed to be the moments Experts can take a breather and relax.

By keeping it simple I also hoped to show that this screen was not for the purpose of looking at or using.

What about this Info Architecture helped shape the direction of the team?

Answer 2

I was responsible for figuring out the interaction patterns and create a proposal through design so after reviewing the first batch of wireframes I took a step back to think about the key elements that we wanted to surface and how they would play out through different micro flows.

So again, this chart as you can see was mostly focused on the interactions:

• In orange I basically listed the interactive components I wanted to include. and
• In blue the interactions with that component.
• In purple where that interaction would lead to, wether another page or a different view like a modal

In the process of decidine our key solutions I gathered with my product manager and we bounced of ideas with each other.

While I advocated for Goal Setting he felt that trends would be valuable.

Today’s market view and Expert focus were the most obvious to us based on current performance analysis behaviour.

We looped in our field success partners and made sure that this felt right.
