6
Q
Steps to preparation of veneer
A
- Facial depth cuts
- Gingival margin / connect depth cuts
- Incisal reduction
- Interproximal extensions (elbow)
- Round all angles
- Verify path of insertion / draw
- Make sure margins are adequately tucked into inter proximal regions
- Existing restorations removed/incorporated
- Larger diastema require further extension of prep in apical and lingual directions for proper contours
- Use silicone putty matrices to verify reduction

Q
What is the preferred provisional bonding technique?
A
Spot Etch - Bond
- Etch a mid-facial spot
- LC bond only there
- Make provisional with stent or mold
