Riverside pubs attract crowds on sunny days and warm summer evenings.
Low fertility rate.
Least ethically diverse population in London.
In 2001: minority groups compromised just 9% of the boroughs population.
Large Georgian and Victorian houses occupy the roads leading away from the river up to Richmond Hill. Some of London’s most expensive house prices are, in 2010 =highest in London.
Inner city: Canning Town
High density terrace houses from 19th century, high proportion of a range of ethnic minorities,
Lots of flats.
Suburb
A mixture of both Zoth C detached and semi detached houses with gardens.
More diverse but proportion of white British is still the highest.
Rural urban fringe -
Majority white, significantly fewer ethnic groups. Richer, often with the freedom to afford cars.
Rural areas:
Majority white, high proportion of elderly people. Mostly in professional and managerial sectors -doctors, vets, lawyers, farmers.

Causes :
Economy of country
The population of the country has risen to approximately 80 million since 1985, the rate of crop production per capita.
The great Rift Valley, an intersection of three tectonic plates partly under Ethiopia.
Ethiopia is subject to frequent earthquakes, droughts and volcanic eruptions.
Unstable rainfall.
Since the drought in 1984, Ethiopia hasn’t been able to produce sufficient food for themselves . About 3 generations ago, Ethiopia was 50% Forrest.
Ethiopia : impacts of famine .
In the 1984 famine,1 person died every 20 min sue to undernourishment. During the 2000 famine, 95% of the livestock had been killed either due to the drought or by herdsmen to feed families.

Social advantages of ageing population:

The creation of retirement resorts in popular locations, combating loneliness.
Social disadvantages: depression increased, occupying hospital beds.
