What is population geography
It is the study of the size distribution composition, migration and growth of the population.
What is demography
It deals with the statistics of populations such a size development structure
What is population density
It refers to the number of people a relative to the space they occupy.
Birth rate
Number of births per 1000 of a population per year
Death rate
This refers to the number of death per 1000 of the population per year
Life expectancy
This refers to the average number of years. A person is expected to live
Infant mortality
This is the number of infants deaths per 1000 live birth.
Natural increase
The rate at which a country’s population is growing.
Fertility rate
The average number of children an average women would have if she were to live to the end of her child bearing years
Literacy rate
The percentage of the total population who can write and read.
GDP PER CAPITA
This refers to the income of the country divided by the population of that country.

This shows the changing relationship between birth and death rates over time.
