Q

If intermolecular forces are so weak, how come polymers have high melting in boiling points?

A

Because they are in such long chains, they have so many different intermolecular forces that it requires a lot of energy to overcome

Q

Why are polymers solid at room temp?

A

Necause they hsve lots of weak intermolecular forces, so there is lots pf energy required to over cone rhemcall.
