A

Identifies the importance of issues and their precedence when addressing them.
Therefore:
- Helps to understand why the government creates laws and policies.
- Also why citizens hold certain points of view or take action.

A

A political thinking concept that looks at how and why political institutions and government policies change, or remain the same, over time.
Change states undergoing altering/ making things different.
Stability states something remaining the same and consistent.

Advantages for Stability.

A

Important, political, societal, and economic institutions are smoothing functioning and intact, avoiding significant disruptions or changes over an extended duration.

A

This identifies who has power (what type of power and how it is utilized) and privilege (if this is earned or not) so systems are not impacted when there is the injustice of bias and unfairness.

A

The degree of influence that an individual or organization has among their peers and society in general. Social power comes from having a large amount of skill, importance or fame.
- I.e. some people face a lot of importance on Instagram and having the perfect post and caption.

The bigger the army, with more technology and weapons, the more “power” that country is seen to have.

A

The amount of money someone or an organization has, which corresponds to how much power they have.
I.e. the more money you have, the more power you will have as well.

What is Ethics?

A

Ethics is the political thinking concept that tells us the right or wrong of a circumstance. In politics it helps us understand how we create laws and policies that will best protect and improve the well-being of our communities and the people who live in them.
