anything dealing with money, taxes, government regulation, government spending, wealth distribution
Social (Cultural) Issues
anything dealing with society and the way people live - crime, morality, prison, liberties, rights
Economic Liberals
believe government should do more to assist people who have difficulty meeting their own economic needs
Social Liberals
believe it is not government’s role to support traditional values at the expense of new ones
Economic Conservatives
believe the government tries to do too many many things that should be left to private interests and businesses
Social Conservatives
believe government power should be used to uphold traditional values
Liberatarian
economic conservative (government should not be involved in the economy), but socially liberal (freedom and rights for all)
