What were the alien acts

A

The term alien means non-citizens, and the Alien Act were laws targeting the non-citizens. There were three laws in the Alien Act. The first law lengthened the time it took for immigrants to become citizens with the time it took to vote. The other 2 laws allowed the president to jail or deport immigrants.
