Must maintain Books of Alc’s & documents,
Must get its Books of Account audited,

Must file Return of Income upto due date u/s 139(4B)
Donations must be recorded with the donor’s name and address

What conditions must be met for a voluntary contribution received by an Electoral Trust to be exempt?
At least 95% or more of aggregate donation of the current year along with surplus b/f from earlier year is distributed to any political party, Functions in accordance with rules made by CG
Both conditions must be satisfied for exemption
What type of income is exempt for Electoral Trusts?
Only Donation Income
Other income like interest on Deposit is fully taxable
