Sovereignty
The expectation that states have ultimately authority within their territorial boundaries
Nation
groups defined by common origin, ethnicity, language, or cultural ties
State
A political division of a body that occupies a territory defined by fronteirs
Security Delimma
actions to ensure one’s own security are perceived as threats to the security of other states
Military-industrial complex
An alliance between military leaders and the industries that benefit from international conflict, such as arm manufacturers

what we have regardless of what other people have
Relative power
take into account of what other people have, basically comparing what you have to others
